I had the very great pleasure of visiting Walk in Wardrobe recently. On meeting Katie, the owner I was immediately put at ease and nothing appeared to be too much trouble for her, even though she was busy with other customers. She has some fabulous dresses to either hire or buy in various different styles and lengths. I came out with the whole outfit, not only a beautiful dress but also shoes, earrings and fur wrap/stole. Katie makes it so easy as once you have chosen your dress, she will then build a complete outfit if that's what you want. Definitely would recommend to anyone with a special occasion to go to.

I think this is a really good idea, especially now they're doing more bridal gowns etc. If I was facing the prospect of buying a dress that I was only going to wear once for £1000 I think I'd put a gun to my head at the altar. Surely its better to hire these kind of things then give them back afterwards to be enjoyed by someone else? They do sell the stock here too and reduce the prices after they've been hired out so its worth keeping an eye out for a bargain.

They even have a catwalk here so you strut your stuff in the style of Christie Turlington to see how you're going to look when you arrive at P Diddy's party!

Katherine, the owner of the business is so friendly and down to earth it almost made me want to hire a dress for my forth-coming poker tournament this Saturday!

Before I start I must say I've never shopped here but my girlfriend has informed me of its various pros. They stock a number of stylish classic designs.

I saw a dress on the Walk in Wardrobe website, but it was out of stock. I emailed them to see if they were getting any more in and and Leah emailed me back just a few hours later with details about sizes and colours. She'll be emailing me when the dress is back in stock, so I can buy online. I love it when that happens!
